Choose the tube size and base footprint together

An upright tube socket on a flat mounting flange, with side set screws visible in the product photographs. Choose a round three-hole base or the rectangular four-hole base labelled Square Base in the selector, then choose the nominal 22, 25, 30 or 32 mm tube option.

Installation and tube fit

  1. Measure the tube outside diameter and compare it with the selected socket, allowing for its actual bore tolerance and insertion depth.
  2. Choose a flat, supported mounting area. Match the flange footprint and complete hole pattern to the existing installation.
  3. Confirm fastener, backing and sealing requirements for the deck construction. Set-screw retention does not define the load capacity of the assembled structure.
  4. Check alignment, tube engagement and access to the set screws before final tightening. Have handrail or canopy support arrangements checked for their intended load.
