A recessed handle for a compartment lid

Lift the T-shaped handle to operate the rear cam on a compatible hatch or storage lid. Choose the black handle, metal handle or keyed metal-handle configuration using the selector and its linked photographs. The outer housing is black on all three pictured options.

Installation planning

  1. Measure the existing recess, panel thickness, rear clearance and distance to the keeper surface.
  2. Compare the selected handle and cam with the linked option photograph. Check that a keyed configuration is required before ordering.
  3. Confirm the opening and mounting arrangement from the actual latch. Align the rear cam to the frame and test the complete handle movement before final tightening.
  4. Check that the hatch closes and releases freely. Any hatch sealing requirement depends on the complete lid, frame and installation.
