What This Hatch Cover Is Used For

The Problem It Solves

Standard plastic hatch covers crack under load, warp in UV heat, and leak at the edges after a season or two. Replacing a failed hatch mid-season is inconvenient and costly. This cover is built from PP reinforced with 10% glass fiber, which gives it the rigidity to handle deck loads without flexing and the UV stability to resist surface degradation year after year. PP+10GF (polypropylene with 10% glass fiber reinforcement) is significantly stiffer and more impact-resistant than standard ABS or plain PP. It does not yellow or become brittle under prolonged UV exposure. It is chemically resistant to fuel, bilge water, and cleaning agents.
